Paul Walker is our resident P.G.A. Professinonal, he has been the Head Professional at the club for the past twenty years. He first joined the club as a junior member in 1976 then became the Assistant Professional when he left school in 1979. He has won over 30 Pro-Ams and numerous tournaments throughout his playing career  winning two North Region Events and also played on The Challenge Tour. He also held 7 course records. Learning from his experiences playing, with over 30 years experience Paul has developed into a highly respected coach with a proven track record in coaching at every level, from 5 year olds to Golf Professionals. Using the knowledge gained from working with top coaches such as Butch Harmon and David Leadbetter, he has gained an extensive knowledge of the golf swing.

Using V1 (Video Analysis Software for Professionals) accompanied with a high speed video camera we can capture every minute swing detail. Also we use the Vector Pro launch monitor, all aspects of your golf performance can be measured and fine tuned to produce the right equipment to benefit your golf game.

We also use TOMI which is a personalized putting training device that captures the critical parameters of your putting stroke in real-time. From this data, TOMI can instantly tell you what you need to do to dramatically improve your putting.

- Paul was also the Millennium Captain of the Lancashire PGA  where he served on the committee  for over 10 years

- Paul is qualified as a Ping and Cobra authorised fitting centre

- Paul also specialises in hosting Corporate Client Days and Pro Ams.
